We understand. Implementing a new e-commerce system can seem daunting. That is, if you have to do it alone. Fortunately, if you work with Liftopia using Cloud Store, our full-service e-commerce platform, you have support not only getting set up and selling products, but also throughout the duration of the season. We want to give you a little insight into what it looks like to work with Liftopia, and how we establish a collaborative partnership from the get-go.


Step 1: Understand Your Objectives
Since every business we work with is unique, we spend time understanding your short and long-term goals in order to build a pricing strategy that aligns with your objectives. A successful e-commerce strategy isn’t “one-size fits all”, so we combine your resort or attraction’s operational and pricing data, and season goals, with our own pricing model to formulate a pricing strategy that works for you. As an example, we’ll probably ask what other channels you use for distribution, or if you have a specific revenue or yield target for the season.


Step 2: Finalize Pricing & Strategy
Based on our conversation about your goals and data, our dedicated Analytics team will formulate an initial pricing strategy for us to review together. We’ll discuss the approach/methodology we used, what your pricing strategy looks like across your full product mix, and any changes you’d like to make. You always have the final say on your pricing strategy and product mix, but we’re here to make suggestions and recommendations.


Step 3: Training
Before you launch, we’ll make sure both you and your staff are trained on the tools you need to be successful. This includes everything from how to navigate the Liftopia Extranet, to best practices placing Calls-to-Action (CTAs) on your website. Our Partner Services team is available every step of the way to answer questions from your sales, marketing, IT/tech and operations teams.


Step 4: Launch!
Our team will load all of your products and pricing, and all your team will need to do is add a Call-to-Action to your website that links to the URL we provide. Simple as that!


Ongoing: Consultation & Strategy Guidance
Our team is available throughout the year to answer questions, adjust your pricing strategy, deliver reporting, and check-in to make sure your dynamic pricing strategy is working. Your Account Manager and Partner Services Specialist are available to make sure you are getting the most out of the tools available to you to maximize revenue.
